Good point! I live in an Arts & Crafts bungalow, honey-colored maple floors and dark-stained oak millwork. I'm looking for something pretty traditional with clean lines and natural (or at least natural-looking) materials. It wouldn't be a permanent installation, just something we'd use for a few months of the year. I'm looking at models up to about $400-500. At that price point, I'm sure it won't look like a "real" fire. That's not a deal-breaker, but a loud fan/mechanical noise would be. Thanks!
