There is another off-centered window on the only other wall 😂...1970’s home!

I would add art to the headboard wall so that there is something that moves the eye around and blends the art with the window. i would add a blind to the window.

I’m trying to give this a lot of thought what if you moved the bed all the way to the right so it’s not touching the window at all and maybe add shades and a bohemian style pouf with some other stuff near the window area. Separating into like “two” spaces

I just put drapes all along the wall behind my bed because the window was off centered not you never know. I do not like mirrors that reflect beds get a nice large piece of art for there and if you like boho then use the colors from the art for some pillows and BTW none of those pillows say boho to me except maybe the green velvet one. I woulld stick to MCM there too or a bit of scandanavian since the rug would be perfect for that

I'd play up the asymmetry and put a long arm lamp on the right wall. This will add visual balance and function.

What did you end up doing?? We have the same problem in our bedroom!

I think change the stance of the bed, turn the head of the bed to the side of the white wall and cover the window with a curtain.

Still a work in progress but hoping to have it finished this weekend. We tried a long arm lamp from CB2 and it just wasn’t enough to balance out the window alone. We’re going to do a gallery wall behind the nightstand on the right. We also hung bamboo blinds on both windows (we have another asymmetrical window on the white wall). I will post it once it’s done so you can see if you like it or not. I really did not want to cover the window completely - I’d rather have the light than the design balance. To be continued…

I saw this and it is the best I’ve seen that utilizes the assymetry. The curtain balances out the wall and creates a cohesive space. Something like this with a rattan blind would work.

@Moho, I love your ultimate solution! I too have exactly the same window issue (hence, why I'm looking at your post!). I tried a different options but none "worked". I too do not want to cover the window and forfeit natural light. Your solution looks great. Thank you for the follow-up photos.

This is not relevant anymore but I saw someone do an arched headboard so it wouldn’t compete with the window, and thought that could have worked here too. The finished project was really good, so this is for those of us in the future trying to find all the options for our weird layouts.
