i wouldnt alter the cabinets. I'd do a whitish counter and backsplash .The inspiration is a much larger space. Your kitchen is smaller/more compact I'd stay with the one tone finish. Focus on counter and backsplash/ maybe new hardware.

Orange and blue each intensify the other’s color. If you want to make that floor look really orange, you pick blue cabinets. If you want to minimize orange, you pick a similar color, in a different value. Like SW Creamy. If you want to update without spending 7K having them painted, put that 7K into new lighting, and a different counter. You’ll get a much better result.
