I like it but I think black tile and black walls will be really dark in a small bathroom. Maybe it would look better broken up with some white like this.

Also, think about book storage for the nursery!

I love everything you picked, but I'm imagining your bedroom as being traditional, and your nursery as being traditional, but your bathroom being more trendy. nothing wrong with that if you love it! just interpreting different styles which might be why you're wondering if it's too much?

heres a grouping of the paint colors. seems like gold accents will be a thru line across the rooms, which i think will look great. agree though that the all black bathroom may come off moody and to me great for a master bath but not for a shared bathroom. maybe adding some lightness will make it less moody. but maybe there is more to it that makes it more everyday..

Thanks everyone! I should add that our bathroom has white tile about 2/3 of the way up all of the walls. Actually the picture posted above was one of my inspo photos :) Not sure if this changes the moodiness, or if I should consider going all white, with maybe a green or navy vanity, in the bathroom instead?

I actually like the colors all grouped together like that (more than I thought I would). Gold hardware & white/wood furniture are definitely carried throughout the whole house.

if you have a bunch of white, i think the black will not look moody. my one question is about keeping it clean. black may be a bit harder to maintain, some people no biggie. others find it an issue. love the look all together too. with white and gold, to me very updated feeling and very fun.

Good point about keeping the black clean. Right now, our floor is white tile, and I have a horrific time keeping it clean, so I'm willing to try black! These will actually be vinyl tiles over our existing floor for now for a short-term upgrade anyway.
