Hi, we are in the middle of a remodeling project and it's time to choose floors (entire house), kitchen cabinets and bathroom tiles.

We have seen so many options that make it hard for us to decide. Would love to hear your opinions!

Floors: gray area is main area with double-height ceiling (including deck outside). Should both floors be the same? (or what combination works well?). I'm leaning towards a dark hardwood-look tile but the wife likes light colors.

Kitchen: it has a small peninsula that connects it to the rest of the open space, so they need to bond well. We should use the same flooring as the main area (above). Would like to hear cabinet colors / backsplash.

Bathroom: our main bathroom has a standard tub and big window. We like light and light-colored walls but can't have everything white. Would love to hear your ideas.
