Oh that's an exciting list. I love all of these ideas... Are figs successful in pots? I will have to investigate... One more question for you. If I plant pineapple guava and prune it, won't I lose the flowers and fruit? Or would it only need to be pruned once a year after fruiting?

The conifer has outgrown the pot and that is probably why it is thin.

Not entirely sure on pineapple guava pruning, with regard to flowers & fruit. However, this gardener seems to suggest that the plant is "comfortable" with pruning....

Bay is very amenable to being grown in a pot if you’d like something more formal flanking the window/door.

Is it too hot buy you to grow some blueberries or raspberries? Some varieties do quite well in containers but it maybe not in zone 10.

In that warm zone a calamondin orange or kumquat would be nice. Always something in bloom and fruit in various stages of ripening
