I am looking for advice on how to fix a leak around my septic pipe where it penetrates my poured concrete basement wall. The leak is rain water following the exterior of the pipe and flowing down the concrete wall. It only leaks after heavy rain storms when the soil is over saturated. This past week, Hurricane Zeta came barreling through central Alabama. I ended up catching 6 to 8 gallons of water in a bucket under the leak. My question is straight forward, what is the correct way to seal a septic pipe penetration in a poured concrete wall? I already have the inside opened up for repair, and I will be digging down to uncover where the pipe exits the exterior wall.
