plumbed coffee makers for residential use

I would like to make full pots and single cups of coffee and have had our plumber install a waterline. I am having a challenge finding a single coffeemaker that will do both. I have nothing to photograph at this point except the waterline coming out of the wall where it will sit. Thank you!

I was going to type out my highlights from this article, but it's best to get all the information. Thanks to all of you for posting! We've decided to go with the super expensive Miele (approx $4300). I like that it's easy to clean (even though it's "bossy" with a lot of reminders), and that it makes consistent (plumbed-in) espresso drinks. I also like that it has a coffee pot option (we don't really drink drip coffee, but it's nice to know we have that option!). I like that the Miele also has a drain line. I don't love that the coffee storage is not airtight, or that there is no water filter, but those disadvantages outweigh the advantages. It also doesn't have a ceramic grinder, or wifi (I don't career about the wifi, though it sounds like a really crazy fun feature to have). I thought the next best options, after doing other homework outside of this article, are the Thermador and Gaggenau models. https://blog.yaleappliance.com/best-built-in-coffee-machines. there are the usual suspects like Miele, Bosch, Gag, but they are expensive - $4K. I would think other than that built in group that most consumer coffee makers are not plumbed. There are commercial units (designed for business break rooms) that could work, but most of those are K Cup for Nespresso or ease of use

I heard Thermador makes a good one, but I'm also trying to find reviews on the best built-in plumped in coffee machines.

You can direct plumb a Bunn, but it’s not built in.

I’ve been searching for this too! I didn’t get a built in coffee maker when we bought our appliances last year. I was fine making a pour over coffee and frothing milk for lattes on the weekends. But it’s quickly become a daily chore since I started working from home and my little goose neck kettle is starting to give up from over use.

I’m leaning towards the Bunn since the water tank and funnel are stainless steel. I could make a 10 oz cup or 64 oz pot of coffee and the water is kept hot in the tank and I can make a tea without waiting for the kettle.

I would love to hear your thoughts about them or if you found anything.

We are looking at the Brew Express. We are leaning towards the built-in, plumbed unit. You can brew by the pot or buy an adapter for individual cups. Can you tell us how has your miele performed so far, and the model u have ?

we are currently looking into miele since all our appliences are miele but have read mixed reciews and i am a bit confused with the midel number. it sounds like some models are better then others.
