Mine are still out, unusually mild weather...until tomorrow. However, we'll have many sunny days in a row, but with 1°c night temperature....I'm thinking to bring them in and out every day, as a last treat for the plants, before the indoor & under lights migration...

Once my trees go inside they stay in until the spring.

Mine with fruit will come in tonight (30s forecast), then go back out in a few days. I think the cold nights sweeten the fruit.

Once mine are in, they stay in until mid March. Way too heavy to be moving them around. I just open the greenhouse window and doors and set a fan inside to cool things off. Even in winter, with the sun shining, it can get into the high nineties some days. I just have to watch the soil, so they don't get too dry when the sun shines. And make sure the humidity is up. But no Moving them!!!

Sounds like many here are going to keep their trees put! I can't blame you there. It does take a bit of work to set them back out that is for sure. Thank God my porch is steps away from outside and it only takes about 15 minutes to set them back up on a table close by. Thank God I only have two heavy ones too.

I Just love being able to clean up the area once they are out and spraying them all down as often as I can, let alone get more sunlight than they would inside as long as I can

Seems Like I get tones more buds if I do set them out than if I did not.

RAIN WATER is exactly what I use. I collect 5 30 gallon barrels too and then a bunch of one gallon jugs just for extra. Seems when I only use rain water they respond much better than tap all winter.

I water mine with well water, but do try to put some warm water in the buckets if its really cold. I try to keep from spoiling them. Lol! They do respond well to rain water, but that's a lot of work. Most of the time, its just a water hose and well water. I try to keep mine in a semi dormant state thru winter. Never works, but I try. Very little fertilize during the winter. Try to start perking them up mid February. They are usually back out by mid March.
