It is NeoLith in the Estatuario pattern, it is a sintered material similar to porcelain. https://www.neolith.com/en/collections/estatuario-e01-3/

How does the roll out counter work? will it affect storage under island?

Hello,

It only affects the storage in the end cabinet that it comes out of. It has leaves that fold back onto it and it stacks/rolls back behind the doors. The top "drawer" flips up, to allow the table to roll out. The cabinetry and table were custom made from the Brookhaven series by Wood-Mode.
