I like the mirror! I don't know what classifies as "too traditional" in your book. I think the simple grouping and shapes make the area eclectic, but not fussy. It's always nice to have a mirror at your front door to check yourself before you leave the house. The scale of the mirror is good with the table. The only change I would think to make in your as-is grouping might be to swap the vase and bowl positions. To my eye it's a little more natural flow to have taller accessories toward the corners of a room, unless you think it will interfere with the light switch.

What's making you unsure about the mirror? It's always possible to find another mirror with a chunkier frame that could play with texture possibly (fabric, stone, pickled antique wood). Ultimately, I would trust your own judgement. From what we see in the photo, you have great taste. If you're looking to upgrade, I'm sure something beautiful will catch your eye.

I think it looks great ... simple elegance. Love that gorgeous console and how the mirror doesn’t overpower it.
