Kohler cast iron tub finish

Several people mentioned being unhappy with the finish on their Kohler cast iron tubs a few years ago. Is there any recent feedback you can offer, please? Trying to decide whether or not to replace my 1970's cast iron tub that is in good condition with another cast iron tub, and if I do, I'll choose the Kohler Bellweather if the finish is good.

I wouldn't worry. If you purchase a tub and it comes out of the box with a poor surface finish, send it back to the supplier. Easy to do, especially with the box stores.
