White alliums - which ones are good?

last modified: 5 years ago

I have plenty of tall purple ones - originally I had planted Purple Sensation and Gladiator, at least 14 years ago. I no longer know what these are - they are not especially big; crosses might have happened as well.

I'd like some white ones for contrast. Height and flower size should be similar, if possible.

Are all the white ones small flowered?

Are they as hardy as the purple ones? I've bought lots of other alliums, blue, pink, small white: and none bloomed more than one season.

I know there's a large one that's ivory, but I've seen that one, and it's not white enough.

Thanks!
