Sink cutout sloppy with quartz install

We are doing a simple remodel in the kitchen in our new house...we chose a fabricator who could get us countertops at a fast turnaround time (mistake?).

The install was yesterday and the sink cutout is sloppy. One edge is bowed:

I asked the installer about it and he said it was "because of the template that came with the sink".

1. Is that an excuse (sounds like it)?

2. Can this be fixed (can another fabricator fix the sink cut on site)?

**We do NOT want to work with this fabricator anymore. He is extremely abrasive and rude. My husband asked him a question yesterday and he immediately escalated it into an argument that my husband then had to walk him down from. He also started a fight with our cabinet installer and almost caused us to lose him. He also gave me the wrong sink color which I didn't realize until after the fact (I guess I can only blame myself there for not micromanaging him). So now we have the wrong sink and sloppy sink cutout that I think we may just have to live. Newbies to this process.

**We cannot afford to have someone rip all this out and start over.
