IMO a simple fan with no additional design is what you need the lighting is the part that is the “style” for the space.

I agree!! But I am having a hard time finding a simple fan for a low ceiling.. I think this will be the chosen one..

look for flush mount ceiling fan.

Also several fans will have low ceiling adapter kits, this where an actual lighting store can help you.
