I see a yellow undertone on the sample you posted and honestly every paint maker has a good line that wears well. The best way to choose paint is in the space with all the lighting in LED 4000K that is how you choose wall color. Is this a new build or a renovation. IMO a renovation allows you to choose wall color much later when all other elements are in place . if you want white then forget the warm part and get a pure white , warm usually involves yellow

Should the white paint be a touch darker or more warm on the cabinets using the unlacquered brass?

We are in final stages, painting is starting now! The white is driving me nuts, I do not want anything that reads yellow but don’t want sterile either.

I agree with Patricia. I see a lot of yellows in that new paint sample although it may read differently in the space. I would look into getting a paint sample sheet of both colors and place them on number of walls and view them at different hours of the day.

Personally have SW Pure White in my home and it really is a crisp white without unwanted undertones. It has held up well over the course of the year and a half with two very rambunctious young children. However, can not speak to the durability of the Exquisite paint line.

Simply white definitely reads too yellow to me.

Then if you are considering whites, look for ones with a lower Chroma (less colourful, so more neutral) than Simply White. See the Colorographies at The Land of Color .com.

They compare attributes of similar colours in detail, objectively via colour measurement.

You obviously still need to sample colours in your space, but this method of anal is a great filter.

Which one is number 2? Same issue w my house exterior... was looking at Sherwin Williams pure white- was worried it was too stark

2 was dunn edwards cool December. I went with white picket fence by dunn edwards. It looks great, very neutral doesn’t read too warm or too cool. The sherwin Williams pure white in certain light looked more stark than the cool December
