As with all split-entry houses out entryway is TINY and even opening the main door would throw someone down the stairs...

Please help me figure out if it's possible to remodel and expand the entrance without knocking down this entire wall of the front of the house to create more space?

Has anyone here done any remodeling projects like this? Suggestions, advice, all welcome!
