As I was walking through Lowes to get a thermostat, I glanced at the mowers, and saw the yellow tag.

I was planning on buying a self-propelled electric in the spring, once my newly seeded (but now dead) lawn takes. I like the propulsion due to the significant slope of the lower two-thirds of my lawn; the turns alone are effort.

Anyway, at first I thought it had to be a misprint, or for something else, so I flagged an employee.

Yes, it was correct. So I left with a non-propelled 80v Cobalt mower with a 5Ah battery for $103 (before my 5% for the card).

The model no longer shows on their website, but the display model might be left at your local Lowes if this made you drool . . .

And if un-propelled *doesn't* work out, for my $100 I have this spare battery (the old propelled unit has a 6Ah), charger, blade, and wheels when I buy what I would have bought anyway! (The regular price was $499!)

come to think of it, if the display propelled model is still there, it likely has a similar deal.
