The length of those curtains are not working. The sheerness looks off also.

I don’t have them hung correctly yet. I tucked them up to get an idea of whether they would work. Too flimsy? Would you go heavier brown or heavier lighter color?

The sheers are "fine"...I trust they are the proper length once you get them hung.
I would get a different runner...perhaps sort of a light wine color...merlot rather than deep burgundy. Your room has a sort of arts and crafts style vibe....so maybe something like theses candlesticks would work and be interesting.
And a big pottgery bowl in maybe a deep forest green or a brown and tan.....and fill it with lots of big silk off white hydrangeas.
And you need something on the walls but I am a believer in art that speaks to you and not to rush into buying "something for the walls". So for now a good sized mirror in a simple wood frame....good size....like2 4 by 36.

Here’s the room “naked.” After taking down the sheers and the runner, I feel like I would prefer something airy on the windows. Like linen. I tend toward art& crafts/earthy vibes.

I do like that rug, but I think a lighter one would work better.

Are you thinking of a console table? I can’t tell if you have room, but maybe a narrow one would work?

Oh yes, I love a lighter rug. And lighter curtains. Not as heavy for sure. Yes, want a console. That West Elm one is nice. Which wall would you place it? The longer wall or the one to the left of the window?

What program/app do you use for placing furniture in a room? I have had trouble finding one to help me that I can live furniture/accessories over and around.

LOVEEE Jinxs runner. Really pretty. I’m thinking that kinda idea for art. Do you need a runner? Why not vases on the table instead. I’d go with a lighter rug. But I also like jinx’s last rug idea. Any art in a light wood frame will look good
