I'm having good success with the leca method. This single strand developed roots within 2-3 weeks in this. Link to my discussion:

I also planted some individual node cuttings in bundles in small pots and have those in a clear container with air-tight lid to retain some humidity. I tugged on a few and can confirm they developed roots but have not seen any sign of new growth yet.

Popmamma, I sacrificed a clear storage container. I took the lid ad cut a large rectangle out of it, then taped saran wrap over the opening. I'm going to use that as my propagation container. The sides are translucent and the top, while originally being white, is now clear because it has the saran wrap covering it. I will put the pots with cutting in it once I receive them along with some cups of water to increase the humidity. I suspect this will work just fine.

Would love to see some pics of your setup when you get the cuttings in it. I'm always looking for new ideas! I love to try different things.

Popmama - here's a picture of the tote box propagator. I will be placing a small heating mat under it later today once it arrives. As you can see, it's a simple set up. Cut a rectangle in the top (follow the mold lines and it's simple), place saran wrap over it and tape into place. Seem to work well.
