I painted with an inexpensive White wall paint for walls and ceiling. It corresponds with the slatwall and inside of doors. Yes, marks occur and touching them up quickly freshens the look.

i had left over light blue paint so i just painted one wall in garage. it does a good job hiding marks. our garage has storage on all the wall space so you don't see just a big blue wall. my husband was fine with painting and his answer was practical: it's just the garage.
