I think it would depend on the space. Can you post a picture of the front elevation?

Is the door stand alone? That is an awful large door, if you go for it be sure it is a quality product or you will have issues without a doubt in a few years. Were it me and budget dependent I would opt for a pivot door and bump it up to 5'-0" or 5'-6" wide. That being said, door size is also elevation dependent. Do you have an elevation drawing you can share?

What will the weight of the door be? A 70 pound door is easier to operate and does not hurt as much when it closes on your finger as a 350 pound door.

What does the door weigh? What type of hinges? What type of locking system? Doors that large need a good solid hinge system as well as multi-point locking. I still think it is too large for everyday use but that may just be me.

I would consider a pivot style. It will be easier to find in that size.

Pivot door from a quality company will probably be more expensive but better long term in my opinion.

What about a 42*96 door?
