Kitchen span across 2 rooms

I have a 10'x40' kitchen that shares a wall with a dining room (10x20) and family room (10x20). There is a load baring wall between the dinning and family room. I would like to update it to a open floor plan between the kitchen and the two rooms without removing the load bearing wall. Any suggestions on options? I was thinking of doing something like this, with the stove wall inline with the perpendicular load baring wall and the right of the island opens to the family room and left opens to the dining room, but am concerned it would look comical.

Please post a labeled floor plan of your current space with measurements of all walls, windows, openings etc and adjacent rooms. And also photos of your space.

since the load can't possibly all fall on this tiny wall behind the stove, there is other supports. You see those 4 wood posts?? they are bearing the load.

you could do support posts or install a long beam in the ceiling.

btw, have you talked to a contractor about doing any of this?

Where is the picture of your kitchen? How can we possibly advise you without seeing your kitchen and floor plans?
