Why are you using plastic chairs in an historic victorian home?

The plastic really cheapens the look and feel of the room.

They’re not plastic, they’re ebonized wood.

Even if they were plastic, they wouldn't cheapen the room. Great styling! I like the mix of retro/modern and antique.

Thanks so much Kevin and I agree - a “Parisian apartment” feel with a mix of traditional and modern elements was definitely the goal here. :)

I really like the look and the Parisian apartment feel. The chairs with a touch of Eiffel are wonderful. After seeing this photo in a magazine recently I was hoping to find it on Houzz, as well. Any chance you could share where you found the chairs? I like that they are wood and not plastic. :)
