We are trying to choose windows for our new home and are struggling to make our choice. Our house is "modern rustic" with stone and cedar siding and we are looking for black exterior/black interior windows. We are building in Austin, TX. We have bids so far from Quaker ModernVu (all aluminum), Marvin Essential (all fiberglass), and both Pella Lifestyle (wrapped aluminum exterior, wood interior) and Pella Reserve Contemporary (extruded aluminum exterior, wood interior) both with prefinished black stain on the interior wood. We thought sticking with pre-finished black interior windows would save us from having to paint all the windows (we have about 90) but not many brands make black interior/exterior windows it seems.

Going just off of looks, we prefer the Pella windows with black stained wood interior. The Reserve Contemporary is coming in at $20k over the Lifestyle windows. Is the extruded aluminum worth that? I know of all of the bids we have, Marvin seems to have the best reviews, but I can't really find any reviews specifically on the Pella Reserve Contemporary, just a lot of negative reviews about Pella's lower level windows and their customer service. The Marvin quote is about the same as the Pella Reserve Contemporary. Quaker is the highest bid so far. Any other brands I should be looking at?
