Living Room Design Dilemma Polls

Living Room Layout

I’m stuck on which layout is best. This is the main living room area and is adjacent to an open kitchen and dining area. We live in Florida so it’s more of a coastal theme. The sliding glass doors go out to a screened in patio. It’s an awkwardly shaped room and we have 3 smaller children. There is a loft area upstairs for the TV.

First pic or a sofa and 2 chairs. No sectionals and no loveseats both poor choices for comfort and IMO the sectional is just a bunch of people lined up and not good for conversation. The second one could be the sofa and 2 chairs there

I will go for the 2nd one to give you more space with adjusting the maximum of furniture.

I like #2 but without a loveseat (useless and boogers to arrange.)
