No bunk beds. How many do you need to sleep there?

Who do want to sleep there ? I like this idea forshared sleeping space and I agree no bunks, but really I need to know who is it for? Depending on the size of the loft these could be double beds instead .

We used trundle beds in our lake house loft, but it was set up for grandkids.

We haven’t really decided “who” it will be for however it will be a vacation rental. I like the idea of trundle beds

The liability of making that a sleeping area far outweighs the rental income from added capacity. If you want to make that a bedroom, you close it in with a wall, and make sure the window is a legal egress one.

That makes sense. Having a loft alone still increases liability risks I think. Lots of people have beds in lofts. Maybe we could just add a sofa sleeper
