Home Disasters Building a Home

Schumacher versus (vs) America's Home Place

We are looking to build in the Chapel Hill NC area. We have a budget that we want to stick to and this needs to be our forever home. We were looking at these 2 large builders where it seems we could get more bang for our buck because of their lower price (likely due to volume). What are the experiences out there with these 2 names and is one better than the other?

Your bang for the buck is because both do the bare minimum to pass code. Find a local small builder and you'll likely do better overall.
