Garage floor coating

I'd like to coat my garage floor, epoxy or other method not important. I also want to paint the walls inside the garage as well. Should i paint the walls first, then do the floor? My thinking is if i paint first, dust from the the sanding of the floor might get on the walls, unless companies have a vacuum attached to the sander. Also need to find a company with good prep work first. I'm in Tucson.

Since you’re in Tucson - here us a friends tile floor in his Phoenix area garage. Flooring is Racedeck, they’re 12x12 interlocking.

Below is mine in northern IL - same material but in the land of inclement weather. I’m not a fan of epoxy as too many experience bonding issues. To your question about painting sequence, paint first. You can blow any dust free after.

Your garage floor looks nice. What other method besides epoxy will preserve the floor?

Seems like the consensus is to paint first and do the floor last.

That’s why I’m showing the Racedeck - it’s a floating rubber tile. Can remove individual pieces if ever one requires. Only other option I think if is one of the vinyl mats. Those come in various sizes up to about 12x24.
