My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Here is the picture of my family room before and after

I purchased a new home 2.5 yrs ago. I don't have a design bone in my body. I hired KJS Interiors out of NC. She came to MD on Monday and my family room was completely furnished by Thursday. Karen does Amazing work. We Love it! The challenge is keeping the kids out of our new space. LOL!

Wow! Your 'after' looks so beautiful and tasteful. Also, the room looks completely balanced compared to the before - the furniture fits, and the scale of everything is so perfect. I'm in the process of remodeling and this picture makes me want to get a designer in to help me when the construction is finished. Great transformation!

Beautiful, it's so rare to find a Designer that will come in, assess the project, set up a plan and be gone in four days?! It is warm and inviting. I notice that you were able to use a few of Your own lovelies, lamps, dining chairs, etc. so happy for you.

Wow, fantastic make over! Is that an electric fireplace? Out of curiosity, What did the designer do with the old furniture?

Hi Corey, Thank you for the kind words. She actually moved all of this furniture to our finished basement. It is a gas fire place. I

Thanks everyone for the great comments.
