Look at Ikea, they have narrow cabinets that store plenty of shoes. I have 2 of them in my own mudroom; STALL is the name.

This is a wine rack from Pier One that had slight damage to its top. Used to be in my laundry room just off garage & now is in my garage. Drawers hold gloves & my little dog’s coats. Just start looking at pieces with shelves deep enough for biggest person’s shoes & you’ll be amazed at what you can repurpose!

So, this is the only place to enter? We always use the garage. Sloppy shoes stay out there, others can come inside in that room off the garage.

This might be a candidate for a custom built-in. Contact custom closet companies. So many family run businesses now, no need to only go California Closet.

We have the Brimnes shoe cabinet from IKEA - it’s not as small depth-wise as Hemnes, Stull and other ones, and looks like it might fit your corner nicely. It has adjustable shelves - might be able to fit work boots, although if that’s important I’d try it out in person at the store.
