I saw one in Atlanta, that was thriving on neglect. But it still looked really great.

I was trying to give a few more days to see if anyone else saw this and could respond, but I guess not.

I am glad to hear the one in Atlanta looked really good Brandon, even in a negligible state. That gives me hope. Sometimes when my autoimmune, inflammation and such is acting up, perhaps it will forgive me until I feel better? A girl can hope.

I am getting so excited for Spring, and Winter is just starting!

I was looking at my rose gardens today, looking at how they matured, and thinking how the backbones of the garden are starting to show and how good it is starting to look. Maybe backbone is the wrong word. However, I am so happy with how they are all co.ing together. The old beds, the new beds, so beautiful to me. I am proud of all the hardwork and while definitely not instant, but I get so much gratification from my garden. Sorry to blubber on! Goodnight!

I love reading how pleased you are with all your hard work Alana !! We should all give ourselves grace when it comes to life interference with our gardens and things out of our control . Roses are so resilient and so are we ❤️ God bless you!

Oh, be proud of your garden, Alana; and you're allowed to say so on the forum, too. You've put a lot of work and thought and love into it. I'm glad for you that you're starting to see results.

"When Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?" For my part I'm happy that we're finally getting within shouting range of the winter solstice. The weather is notably terrible here at the moment, but not so long from now, the days will be getting longer, not shorter.

Thanks Melissa! I have saw the results before now, I was just sharing some thoughts that I was having yesterday. Looking at the beauty that I have helped create! Thinking of how beautiful my garden was, even with all the catching up that I had to do. Looking at my new Tea bed, up front in the sun :), of how beautiful and resilient they were. I'm just so happy with all my hard work! My beautiful gardens, always changing, growing, things getting moved around, expanded, hehe, cuz I just have to try this one too! It's where I am most happy!

I really want to try Dr. Grill too.

I hope you will let us know how well Dr. Grill does for you. It seems that there is some disparity between the one in the US and the one described in HMF. Dr. Grill was one I considered but no one seemed to have much to say about it.

Alana, I hope your garden continues to bring you joy in all its phases. Gardeners try to recreate a picture in their heads of their ideal perfect garden but reality can be something different. Sometimes life and mother nature have other plans. That doesn't stop their garden from being beautiful, even when it doesn't match the picture in their heads.

We love our gardens like we love our children. They're both beautiful!
