Are extra shelves really needed while the house is on the market? I suggest removing the white closet units, then see how the bathroom looks.

Since you have removed the white shelves... maybe just leave that wall empty. It will make the room look bigger and allow new owners to decide what/if they want anything there.

I wouldn't replace the large wall shelving in the bathroom with more large shelving. Sends the message the home lacks storage. The vanity looks spacious enough. If large art isn't sufficient or doesn't really work on the whole of the large wall, perhaps a bench and robe hooks would make sense near the shower? For the wall colour, it's really hard to suggest specific colours based on what we see on our screen. My advice would be to go a couple shades lighter than the sandy colour in the floor. What needs to be painted? Just the wall behind the toilet and above the shower? Would be nice to have less contrast between the toilet and the wall and have the floor and wall appear almost seamless.

I like the idea of a bench and wall hooks. It's possible you're going to have a floor issue once the center section of the closet system is removed - if the grout has aged differently or the closet was installed to cover some other flaw. A bench in that space would be a good way to draw the eyes away from the floor.

I like that idea too so that is all I would do and put those cabinets in the garge since they are worth keeping for something. You do not have to install them just leave them there for the next guy to decide what they are good for. I would also remove the toilet one and hang another piece of art ther clean and then clean again nice fuffy white towels hung on the hooks on that wall and be done.

Yes, agree with everyone above: don't replace the shelves with other shelves. Space is what buyers seek. Tartanmeup above nailed it when s/he states that the shelves send the wrong message to buyers.

The vanity hardware and light fixtures are fine. Just clean it all thoroughly - it already looks spotless. For paint, use off white in the same tone as the flooring, make sure it's got enough color to contrast with the white toilet. Add white orchid and new white towels.

Have your floor steam cleaned after you remove the shelving unit...it you see that the grout colors are different.

Behind toilet and shower is granite tile floor to ceiling. A little wall space on sides of vanity and around window—it’s vanity to ceiling granite above vanity. The big wall is the one where closet built ins will be removed. the wall opposite shower is bifold mirrored closet doors with a little wall space around the doors.

On closer look, I think I see that along with the vanity wall, the entire back wall behind the toilet and shower are also tiled - is that right? I wonder if a single off white wall is going to look ok, or if you'd be better off to paint a color that is a couple of shades lighter than wall and floor tile. Then look for a large art piece with tones from the tile and granite as well as a lot of white to tie in with white towels. If you were buying "to keep" you'd want it to be framed, but if just to stage, a canvas would be less expensive.

Oops, another case of not reading the original post closely - you clearly said the back wall was tiled!

I would as suggested remove the shelves and replace with bench and hooks ONLY IF NEEDED. Otherwise I wouldn't even do that. Maybe hang a nice piece of art. Get some pretty towels and soaps. I wouldn't waste money on replacing fixtures either. They're fine. Just make sure everything is spotless and in the shower, hide the soap and shampoo containers. Seriously.

Remove the shelving system and take pix so we can make further suggestions. My pet peeve is a lack of towel bars. I don't like to see towels hung on the shower door handle. Maybe a nice pair of towel bars in place of the shelving. If there's an electrical outlet behind the shelves, then consider adding a towel warming unit; that would sell a lot of people on the bathroom. Put robe hooks on the back of the bathroom door. Do the shades match others throughout the house? You might upgrade those to something a little less "off the shelf" looking. Move your toilet brush holder to the other side of the toilet so it isn't seen upon entering the room. For showings, turn on all the lights, including the ones in the toilet and shower areas.

Even if those shelves look better in person (right now they look very utilitarian) I would never want them in a bathroom. Remove the closet shelving and call it done. All your plans are all easy fixes a home owner will want the say so on when they are ready. It will add NOT ONE THING to your sale. If due to removal damage you have to paint go light light light and remove the nasty blinds. Those things collect dust like no body's business then add bathroom humidity and you are making mud!!

You could stage this bathroom as is, with baskets of towels, toilet paper, etc. on those shelves. Not all buyers will be turned off by seeing lots of storage cubbies. Make it pretty. Add soaps, shells, plants, etc. Done

White wall color to match closet organizers so everything feels simplified and fluid. New simple metal framed vanity mirrors. Can't see lights... GL!

I think the paint that is there works it could be brought down a shade lighter. Can your painter color match it, add a bit of white to bring it lighter? The bright white trim is quite a contrast...window/door frame/crown. I might think about painting it the same as the wall.

Sorry to say that vanity color doesn't go with anything based on shades I see on my monitor. I think you might consider painting vanity/mirrors as well.

Do you know the name of the granite? I'm not a pro, but guessing it might be St. Cecilia.....

Try googling "paint colors for (whatever name) granite". Maybe that will help you narrow down specifics for a wall color option that will also work with your floor. And a second shade for the cabinetry.
