Mismatched recliners

I bought charcoal gray and a light gray recliners. The room is a breakfast room converted to a den/tv room which is directly off the foyer (12x15). What can I do to make this room cohesive? The room is visible from the front courtyard as seen below. It is very beautiful and inviting (current homeowner's decor) but didn't fit our lifestyle. We opted for TV in comfortable recliners. We have no furniture (retiring from the full-time RV life) and needed something in stock, hence the decision to go with the mismatched set, on sale, non-returnable.

By the time you put the hasty purchase in the space? It appears you will room for a console beneath the tv, a table between the recliners and a rug.

Begin with a rug. What other colors do you like? Navy? Emerald green? You need to know the dimensions of the space. Begin with a rug........NOT ALL GRAY. ......

OR BEGIN WITH SOME ART YOU LOVE, Pull colors for an accent from there.

Atleast they are the same style and color family. I think the TV is too high and are you putting a wall between what looks like a kitchen counter on the right . I think I need to see a floor plan of the whole living space . I like open spaces but IMO this needs to be closed off if you plan on usung it as a TV space for sound if nothing else. But I need to see the floor plan.

Add a rug. Place the chairs side by side facing the TV with a small table in between them. Maybe back the two chairs with a console table and place table lamps there instead - so you don't have use the overhead lights while watching TV.

Personally I wouldn't worry about the two colors. Just decorate the space and enjoy it. Get a couple of lumbar pillows to put in chairs for color. Here are a few things from Amazon.

Thank you all so much! I love the dark and light grays with jute/sisal. For those who are interested, here is a link to the house as it stands today. https://www.har.com/site/3106-breezy-pines-court_SITE15305046.htm. Closing next week! :o)

    I can’t believe $315,000 buys a home like yours.

Bring it to Cape Cod and it would list around $1,200,000. The landscaping alone would be close to $150.000…maybe more, with all the stone work. If I would 20 years younger I would like to be your neighbor. Wow!

If you don’t mind, I am sending the listing onto my two friends I met here on houzz years ago. One lives in northern CA and the other outside of Nashville. Both have beautiful homes and will enjoy. Thanks for sharing.
