What is that above the slide bar? A speaker? Why do you have two valves? Yes, the configuration you have with the placement of the wall outlet in that spot will be problematic. How long is your hose? The best thing to do is to actually hold the slide bar with shower head and hose in place and try them out to see how the hose drapes. See what happens when you move the shower head up and down.

The water connection for the hand held should be on the same side as the hand held shower head arm or the hose will constantly be in the way of your water valve controls. Move that to the right to avoid that.

@catbuilder — it is the primary shower head, not a speaker. There is a shower head in the wall and then a smaller shower head that slides up and down. There are two valves because that is what I am told we need to have a 3 way diverter between the two shower heads and tub. I am in CA so only one can be on a time )if that matters.) Not sure how long hose is — going to figure that out today. The hand shower is a hansgroche rain dance.

There is no need for a fixed shower head at the same location as the hand held one. It's redundant, so get rid of the fixed head and thus the extra valve. Instead of moving the wall outlet to the right, you could just put the handheld on the left side. Those holders can be reversed. But that might not solve the problem. Frequently I will position the wall outlet so that the hose drapes underneath and around the valve. You don't want it to hit the tub spout, so take that into account.

Not necesarily redundant. sometimes the fixed head is nicer than the handheld. And the handheld might be used for pets and cleaning the tum.

Sometimes those shower combo's come in a kit.
