yes, a faux eames chair like the one JudyG posted will look good. keep in mind though, do you need to worry about back pain or anything? I tried using a chair exactly like that for my desk, and it hurt my back. I don't have a problem sitting at it at my dining room table playing board games for hours, but for some reason when it was my office chair, it was uncomfortable.

now I use this chair from Ikea. it's not fancy, and the seat is firm. but I like it because it's small, cute, height adjustable, and the firm seat "reminds" me that I need to get up and walk around every now and then. this is a 1-2 hour desk chair, not an all day one. but my lower back never hurts in this!

I would not buy a desk chair I hadn't actually sat in for a significant amount of time in.

Find a real store that is open and bring your lap top and sit in the chair at a desk for at least 10 minutes. Or if this is for someone else, have them do it.

that's true if you need to sit at your desk for a few hours a day. choosing the right ergonomic chair can be really difficult. no kidding, I bought a brand new Aeron chair last year and after two weeks, gave it to my husband (and yes, I did try it out in the showroom). now I prefer that hard Ikea chair, which I've happily been using every day for several months. go figure.
