Dining room light

Currently the lighting is center off the columns from the living room entry but off center of the dining table. We are putting in a new light and I can’t decide if I should go chandler and swag it over the center of the table or sputnik style and offset to the right?

Can't you try to change the direction of your dining or to center it instead of thinking of light?

First question:

Why isnt the table running with the length of the room? is it too long?

I would do neither and stick with a semi-flush.........not sputnik you have a craftsman house with a craftsman table... the sputnik seems out of the box IMO

Moving the box to the table is not going to look right, nor will swagging, let the light be where it is........
