Growing under Lights Plant Propagation Garden

How Often to Take Cuttings?

I brought a particular salvia in that's considered an annual for my area. Can't buy the seeds now. Do you really have to wait two weeks between taking cuttings? It's growing beautifully and has lots of new growth. (I bought some LED plant lights and have light set to keep it in vegetative mode. I fed it with a compost tea and has really flushed out since taking cuttings about 10 days ago.

I tend to think it's ymmv depending on the plant, but wanted other's opinions.

I don’t know the source of your information but it’s not something I’ve ever heard. To decide if a plant can cope with more cutting back, just be guided by the plant. There is no formula.
