Unusual tan spots on Pothos (neon)

last modified: 5 years ago

Trying to figure out what these marks are from on my neon pothos: http://imgur.com/gallery/35hu6jK(sorry, I don't see any way to add a photo directly to this post)They're only on the top of the leaves. No difference in texture. Seems to be increasing gradually over time on the older leaves, but hasn't caused any foliage death. Definitely no pests. No direct sun, it lives off a mild grow light. I water every 2-3 weeks whenever it starts getting droopy (the soil at that point is bone dry all the way to the bottom) (yet still I get a yellowed leaf a couple days after almost every watering). Pot has good drainage and the soil + is very well draining (promix hp and perlite, totally dry within a week). New growth is mostly perfect. All the photos of brown spots on Pothos online don't look like this so I'm stumped.
