basement insulation

After I bought my house, I found out it had a problem with water entering the basement. I pulled the drywall back to find the source of the leak, and now need to put the basement back together again. The previous homeowners did not put any insulation at this wall, likely because they knew it leaked. If I stay in the house long-term, I plan to gut the basement, so I need a 1-3 year temporary fix.

What can I do to get some insulation in there without pulling down the whole wall, or should I just put the drywall back without insulation?
