I agree with the advice from JuneK .... I used a highl recommended local cabinetmaker 15 years ago for my kitchen & 3 baths. The cabinets still look like new ( white ). Most people visiting our house think it’s a fairly new remodel. They’ve held up beautifully.

That company appears to be a middle-company for the cabinet maker GP Cabinets in Howard, PA. So we contacted them directly and ordered cabinets!

Have you ever worked with cabinets with no toe kick? It’s a great look but some things are standard for a reason.

I agree about toe kicks you will find there is a reason for them very quickly. Also IMO a factory finish on cabinets is always preferable . I would use a local cabinet maker to be sure about the product and they will have a proper space for conversion varnish finish.

@Laura Katherine did you receive your cabinets? how are they? I was going to go with the unfinished but am curious about the PA company. Did you order on the form, like a paper form? thanks!

@Angela Wacker, I reached out to that GP Cabinets company and they confirmed that they are indeed the manufacturer for unfinished-kitchen-cabinets.net. They requested that I put in the order through that website rather than with them directly, because all the customer service staff is on the front end and it would go faster.

We've ended up going with a custom cabinet maker closer to home though, so I can't be any more help than that.
