Depends on how wide. Items tend to wobble and fall off easily. Have you looked at Lee Valley? They have oodles of cabinet solutions.

Thanks, I'm familiar with Lee Valley but I find their site to be not very helpful. I didn't see anything comparable to these slide out things.

in a previous kitchen, I had put in Rev a Shelf slides and then used their Door Mount for the existing cabinet door, like this:

This was very sturdy pulling out my two-bin recycle Rev a Shelf.
