I would send this photo, along with the purchase receipt, to the Ethan Allen web site, along with a note telling the story of the fallen panel.

I should've added to my post that I have contacted Ethan Allen about the new issue, as well as a 2nd issue - I noticed that the back panel was attached upside down to, such that the openings for media/outlet access are at the top of the buffet and therefore blocked by the top drawers.

The current response from the person I'm working with (who has been very helpful so far) is that the doors are already planning to be replaced, but I'm wondering whether this is acceptable quality for this furniture. I haven't received clarification yet as to whether the new doors will be similarly constructed.

Sharing an update in case it could be helpful to someone else.

Ethan Allen sent a repairman to fix the doors and back panel of the buffet. The door panels are made that way so the inset panel can be swapped for glass, but the initial furniture maker didn’t secure the panel properly.

Although I’m disappointed with the lack of quality control before delivery, the person that came out was very helpful and I’m pleased with the result!

Glad it was resolved well! It’s a beautiful cabinet.
