The key is: do you like it on your cabinets?

I have champagne bronze or not so yellow brass handles on my cabinet but the faucet and appliances are stainless steel. You just need to balance it. I have a little champagne bronze in each room but the kitchen is half stainless half champagne so it balances.

So if you like the brown, bring in the brass on the things in the counter or even the faucet.

If you dont, I'd replace it. Going through the headache of buying new handles is less than the headache of seeing them every day.

The Brown Bronze looks amazing on Moonshine from sherwin williams. That is my cabinet color. A pale gray/baby blue. I find it very difficult to find brown bronze (champaign) (that almost brown copper look) to accent a home. I don't see it much. Do you think it's ok to have oil rubbed bronze, the champaigne bronze or brushed bronze they I put on my cabinets and my brushed brass light in the same room? I love the brushed bronze champainge pulls on the cabinets but they don't seem to go with all of my gold and the dark oil rubbed bronze. Seems like it would be too busy. Do you have photos?
