The TV console is too small. It should be at least 25% wider than the TV (50" TV console 62")

I would switch the sofa to the window wall and put loveseat facing TV.

I think the glass coffee table will brighten the space.

The curtain rod looks odd. Is it curved? The rod should be hung closer to the ceiling and about 10" wider on each side of the window

@jck910 Thank you so much! If I get the glass coffee table do you think I should change out the tv stand for something similar as well? And yes, the curtain rod is old and bent I have a new one that I need to install.

TV console should be wood. Let the coffee table be the star, It is very pretty.

HU-77,,,,, let me show you some similar layouts that mimic your room so you can get some ideas.

I'd start w/a new media console. the one you have is too dark and too bulky. (BTW, if you look into Ikea media console hacks, you'll find a tone of ideas) or, maybe something like this one

mount your tv to the wall, find a console that extends past the tv width

this one shows proper placement of a rug, side table, and chairs (although you have a loveseat)

try doing a taller plant in the corner. gave you a few new pillow combos.

this rug matches your sofa , but I'd do the other accessories.

like these. if you want the gold, this rug will work. do a light wood console

you could even find a vintage console and paint it:
