What causes Efflorescence in a New Jersey Crawl Space?
Comments (4)Yes, that is a problem. The fuzzy stuff if efflorescence, which is residue left from water. efflorescence is indicative of the past presence of moisture, the potential for mold growth is increased. You can’t have mold without moisture and we now know that moisture was present. By removing the moisture the likelihood of mold growth decreases. You can use dehumidifiers in the immediate area of the moisture and a fan blowing directly on the wall or floor to help dry it out....See MoreWhite/yelliwish dots on Zucchini leaves

Comments (0)I think my beautiful new zucchini plants already have powdery mildew on them. I planted Them from seed directly into the soil around the first week of May along with other seedlings that I had Started indoors a few weeks prior. Anyways, I think a couple of my zucchini plants have powdery mildew. they’ve only had true leaves for a couple of weeks. Ive battled PM before so i am familiar with what it looks like but this looks different. I have Multiple zuke plants in one bed and only two had white on the leaves. I Have been applying a copper fungicide and it has helped one plant tremendously but one is still growing leaves with white along the veins. Sorry for going on and on! I am just upset and annoyed because i put in a lot of work into prepping the beds this year. I like in southeast MI and our weather has been fairly steady and the plants get plenty of sun....See MoreBri L.
