The sample photos show edges that do not fit tight. They recommend 10% waste which is double the normal waste amount for a well manufactured product.

Every nosing piece I bought from BuildDirect is pealing. The flooring for my new house was professionally installed. Tho the product has a “Lifetime” warrantee on it. After documenting and complaining to BuilDirect they had me hire a third party to evaluate the flooring. It cost me $675 which I had to pay to BuildDirect. After paying the money I found out this service typically costs $500, so BuildDirect is making money off of this as well. I told BUILDIRECT I want to see the experts report and expect complete transparency, but they have not said they would share the report I PAID FOR with me! They will evaluate it, The finish on EVERY PIECE of nosing comes off with your finger nail! As it’s installed, simply receiving new material will not cover the loss I’ve incurred from using flooring from

BuildDirect.
