Fire On The Mountain: this is a fantastic red to red-orange. It is a front of the border plant in my garden.

FLYING DOWN TO RIO: If you like tall plants, this one fits the bill.

Another one rhat also shares ink Turantula as a parent is Flamingo Heartstrings. which is new last year; still in the pot when I took the photo.

I will keep trying but Houzz is very slow.

Nice F's! I like Firecracker Parade and Fuchsia Sunrise.

Fiesta Latina is one of the brightest in the garden and a good grower too. It's also a good seed setter.

I won Fondue and Dont's in Selman's weedly giveaway.

Forbidden Territory is not toothy enough for my tastes. It will leave the garden this spring.

Forestlake Briar Patch is probably my favorite of the Forestlakes. It's not a large flower, but it's on a nice tall scape.

Forever Rosemary is a pretty color. It's been in a weedy section of the garden. It's been moved so we'll see what it can do.

Forever the Optimist is fabulous. It is a reliable rebloomer for us too.

Here are two faces of Four Beasts in One.

I think this picture makes Fourth of July in Georgia look better than it really did. Most of the flowers last season were sort of splotchy.

Fox Lake Ziconic is a large flower. I'm going to try to breed with it this season because I like the large eye.

Fox Point is a fabulous grower in our garden. The flowers are not very big though.

Somebody posted earlier that 15 hybridizers died in 2020. The hybridizer of Free China, Guiru Zhang was one of them. He worked with a lot of toothy varieties.

I love the flowers of Freewheelin'.

Fringed Catawba is one that got lost in the weeds. It's an interesting color, but it might be time for it to go.

Fulvous Brush Man is one that Bob loves. It is also a late bloomer in our garden. It's an offspring of Autumn Minaret, though not nearly as tall as it's parent.

I like your Fushia Sunrise and, of course, Fighting Fire. David, Fast Pleasure is a beauty. No wonder it is a favorite. Nancy, I couldn't find Free Chine, but I did find one that was named for , Guiru Zhang, Perfect Liberty Zhang.

David - Forbidden Desires is a pretty purple. Is it really only 19 inches tall? Fast Pleasure is a gorgeous deep color. I remember it from when you posted it last summer. I still have Forsyth Frostbound in my garden but did not photograph it last year.

Hoosier Nan - I like the two looks of Four Beasts in One. Forestlake Briar Patch does have a marvelous edge.

Forbidden Desires is usually around 26 inches in my garden. I think it needs some chilling to reach that height.

Sherry: I loved your little chuckle of the day. I made a small batch of Snickerdoodles the other day and all that's left are crumbs, so it really struck home...............Some very nice ones here. David: Someone (you???) tempted me beyond redemption on Frieda Allen Jerrell. One of the few new ones I will have coming this spring. Fast Pleasure is another of Benetts beautiful pinks. He really has a way with that color.........Nan: I like the yellow muchly, but Forever The Optimist is my favorite of all the pretty ones you showed..........Debra: Tell me again what your take on Facemaker is please. I love that circle pattern. Hard to find one that meets my picky tastes though. Does the base color fade to more white as the day goes on without loosing the circle pattern?..............Kay: What a great hot color on Flaming Flamingo.........Maryl

David, do you have the parent of Fast Pleasure--Big Hearted Lady?

Free Wheelin is one that is quite consistent here, and Nan's picture shows it at its best. Has Forever the Optimist been good over a number of years? Both parents were weak in this area.

Fear Not, after a few years with short scapes, has slipped in favor.

Festive Fall has been great the past two years. Nice bright colors in the earlier garden.

Free the Captives --a large flower on tall scape

Flying Trapeze. A very nice flower, but it does not overwhelm with bud count here.

Flaming Flamingo. It does have that glossy red overlay, but plant habit seems not as good as that of Bob Marley.

Fabulous Black Pearl is somewhat marginal here, but its flowers can be very appealing.

Faith Healer

Forsyth Frostbound came out of hibernation last year. It is generally an anemic plant here, but the flowers are distinctive.

Fabulous Frieda has yet to show that it is a good northern plant.

Faith That Moves Mountains is lovely and saturated, but a picture like this requires a view well before noon. Not much multiplication as I recall.

Flight of Orchids

Fountain of Life looked good in 2020.

Facepaint has looked good in the last few years.

Frank Teele has managed to stay in the garden. It's a nice rich color. I have given up trying more recent Salters. With advancing age, one doesn't have time to waste

Lol Sherry, I had salad then chocolate last night. All are terrific but Flutterbye always grabs my attention.

Kay Fried Green Tomatoes is wonderful.

Debra Facemaker is fantastic but it is always difficult to pick just one out of many.

hoosier_nan it is a toss up between Forestlake Briar Patch & Four Beasts in One.

I do not have BIG HEARTED LADY, but it is on my to try and acquire. It is a fantastic parent as I have several of its offspring.

Maryl - Facemaker was new last year and only bloomed on one fan with a limited number of buds. It mostly bloomed during the first two weeks of the season that were unusually cool. Only the last bloom had the base color looking more white. Because it didn't bloom when temps were high, I can't tell you whether the petal color would normally bleach to white white or whether the eyezone would fade. The photo I posted was what I normally saw throughout the day last season. I tend to think those petals will always be more cream than near white, since the hybridizer registered it as have cream based petals. It they looked near white, he would have said near white. Photos you have seen that make the petals look more white were taken in shade with cameras that blue everything up and take out yellow tones.

Mantis - I do like your photo of Flight of Orchids. I'm surprised you still have Forsyth Frostbound after many years of warning others about its bad attributes. Faith That Moves Mountains multiplies OK here, but has short scapes - 20-22 inches here. Is yours shorter than registered?

Oh, Faith That Moves Mountains was a little shorter in 2020 than previous years. I do not recall its being too much shy of 28 inches. I didn't even know I still had F Frostbound, as suddenly it appeared. You know all about that--a plant you thought was gone, and then appears somewhere.

As always, thank you Debra for giving me your honest assessment of Face Maker as it does in your garden. I saw it on a vendors sight a couple of years ago and was taken by it.

Mantis, Forever the Optimist has been here only two years (one winter). It is doing well but we really haven't had a rough winter recently. Darla Anita never did much for us but we have never grown Bella Sera.

FOREST GOD and FABULOUS FRIEDA certainly catch my eye. I love polychrome diploids. How is the bud count on it? The registration says 12 buds. If it is a fast increaser and sends up many scapes, then I can forgive the low bud count.

Laura: You have some real stand outs. Far From the Madding Crowd appeals to me. The open form, the color are just beautiful. I don't know how it would stand up to our heat, but I'd love to try it some day. I also like Forest god, another pretty yellow polychrome. Flying Trapeze is eye catching with that saturated color. Very nice selection of F's from you...............Maryl

Laura - I think my favorites of yours are two that I grow: Forever Redeemed and Forty Days and Forty Nights. Neither had a particularly good season here last year, and I did not take photos of them. The year before last Forty Days and Forty Nights was one of my best performers and rebloomers. I hope both will bounce back this year.

Mantis, I am glad you posted Flight of Orchids. I think it is such a pretty one and forgot yyto post it. and I agree with you that Bob Marley has a better plant habit than Flaming Flamngo though they are both lovely oranges. Laura, your Forever Redeemed and Flying Trapeze are both beautiful. And, Nancy, I blathered and neglected to tell you how beautiful Free China is and that Freewheeling is really a pretty one.

Love Fireblast! Being in Canada isn't all bad You can get Samsational and others of his more easily than we can here. As soon as Nancy posted it last year it went on my must have list. Heather, Forbidden Desires is a lovely clump. I always enjoy clumps shots.

David (and Heather), here is the info on Forest God from Solaris Farms, who hybridized it. I know he's in WI, but don't what zone. Hope this helps. It really is a gorgeous bloom.

Bremer. 2005. Dormant. Diploid. 26″; 5″. 2-3 branches. 12+ buds. M to ML. Yellow-pink polychrome. The green throat is large and striking. Flowers are perfectly flat and shiny. Substance is like wax. Typically has more than 12 buds as it is a bud builder. To see this flower in bloom equals an instant love affair. Always popular. Excellent increaser. (Cosmic Questions x Quiet Earth).
