These two colours are very close to each other at the beginning of the Yellow Hue Family

Shiitake is a couple of points lighter and a touch more neutral than Loggia.

Loggia is actually the more colourful of the two.

What color is existing?

Right now I have Benjamin Moore Lenox tan. From 2002.... It took me forever and a trip to Ballard Designs to narrow it down to Shiitake and Loggia! Would like to stick with one of the two! I am NOT good at this.

With those beautiful floors, I think you could afford to lighten things up on the walls a little more,,,

I don’t recommend Loggia. I used it for my house exterior and it is a “drab” color. It’s not terrible but it doesn’t give off a wow factor.

Is the kitchen being painted as well?

No - the kitchen is Stone Lion. They said that these two colors would go with Stone Lion (which I used to match my backsplash tile etc). I don't want to paint my great room Stone Lion though.

Wondering what you decided on since also moving from Lenox Tan and considering same two colors as you? Appreciate any feedback since considering the same two colors. Thanks!

Hello. I ended up with Accessible Beige! Love it. Gives some contrast without being too light or too dark.

Current pic. Have some things setting on the mantle so that my granddaughter wouldn’t break them. ☺️

Everything turned out beautiful. I'm so glad you're pleased with Accessible Beige...We sampled it but it went too gray in our large but north facing family room. Thanks so much for the response and inspiration!

You are welcome! Color changes so much depending on light. Have you tried using Samplize? They are worth every penny having big removable paint samples to move around the room!

Yes, lighting so tricky. We have a lot of windows, many on northside, and that really changes look of wall color compared to other side of open floor plan that is south/ west facing. Also, big fan of Samplize...working on list of new contenders to order. So far, Loggia has held more warmth for us than others.
