IMO cahises are a one person seat and I think belong in bedrooms . That said who will be sitting in another one since you would both be really lying down which IMO is really not the way to entertain another person. I think I would just keep the chaise and entertain in another space when you need to have more seating.

Love your room! Honestly, any of your options would work well, it’s just a matter of what you’d prefer to use most. If it were me, I’d probably get a comfy chair with ottoman, just to have a more versatile set-up.

The chaise is to relax and watch tv and have a glass of wine. No one comes in the room with the exception of me and my pup and on very rare occasions my husband.

@Sharon Harris, I have that exact chaise and chuckled when I saw that your dog lounging on it. I rarely get to sit on mine because the cats have claimed it.

I'm not sure how big your space is, but perhaps a small loveseat would be another option? That would allow you to curl up your legs to the side for another comfortable position not feasible on the chaise. My chaise is part of a reading nook in our [in]formal living room, which also includes a couch and loveseat.

Basil, that is exactly why I need another seat. My pup claims it! Probably, because it is by the window and she is noisy. I did think about a love seat but wasn’t sure. Thank you, I think that might work well!
